This page explains how to delete your account on the CollabVilla app (developer: Technicus Infotech LLP) and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account from inside the app, or request deletion from this page if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the CollabVilla app and sign in with your registered mobile number.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will be deleted and tap Delete my account.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately, and your data is deleted as described below.
Request deletion without the app
Fill in the form below, or email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my account”, giving your name and registered mobile number. We will confirm that the request comes from the account owner, usually with an OTP or a call to your registered number, before deleting anything.
Before you delete
- Any active collabs, pending payouts or open disputes need to be finished first. We will let you know if anything is outstanding.
- Creators: any approved earnings in your wallet are paid out to your verified bank account before the account is closed.
- Deletion is permanent. You will not be able to recover your profile, campaign history or messages.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, photo, bio, city, categories and rates
- Your contact details: mobile number and email address
- Linked social media handles and any connected-account data
- Your portfolio and sample work
- Bank account details and PAN
- Messages, proposals and notification settings
- Device and notification tokens
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment, invoice and tax records (including GST invoices, TDS records and the campaign ledger) are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, generally up to 8 years, and then deleted.
- Content already delivered and paid for in a completed collab stays with that brand under the usage rights agreed in the brief.
- Records of disputes, fraud checks or legal claims are kept until the matter is closed and any legal limitation period has passed.
- Anonymised statistics that no longer identify you may be kept.
How long it takes
We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request and confirm by SMS or email when it is done. Copies in our backups are overwritten within a further 90 days.
