About the role
The CollabVilla platform runs on Laravel and MySQL, with a mobile app for creators and a web portal for brands. You'll build and run the backend that holds campaign money, releases payouts, issues invoices and keeps both sides honest. Small team, real users, money on the line, so the work matters.
What you'll do
- Design and build APIs for the creator app and brand portal
- Work on payments: campaign funding, reserves, payouts, GST invoices and TDS
- Write tests for the flows that touch money, and keep them green
- Improve performance, logging and monitoring so problems surface before users notice them
- Review code and help set the standards the team works to
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of professional PHP and Laravel experience
- Solid MySQL: schema design, indexes, transactions
- REST API design, queues and scheduled jobs
- Git, code review, and writing tests as a habit
- You can explain a technical trade-off in plain words
Good to have
- Payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Cashfree or similar)
- Experience building APIs for mobile apps
- Linux servers, deployments and CI/CD
